MAP-LAPKT: Omnipotent Multi-Agent Planning via Compilation to Classical Planning
نویسندگان
چکیده
The general approach is quite simple: we convert the unfactored domain and problem file into a classical planning problem such that the privacy of fluents and objects are respected. The translation is both sound and complete, and we solve the encoded problem using a centralized classical planner. None of the factorization is passed to the classical planner, because the encoded problem contains all the necessary information as part of the problem itself. In the remainder of the document, we outline (1) the simple encoding that we use to create a classical planning problem, (2) the planning framework that we use to solve the encoded problems, and (3) the configurations that we submitted to the CoDMAP contest.

Qualitative Planning under Partial Observability in Multi-Agent Domains
Decentralized POMDPs (Dec-POMDPs) provide a rich, attractive model for planning under uncertainty and partial observability in cooperative multi-agent domains with a growing body of research. In this paper we formulate a qualitative, propositional model for multi-agent planning under uncertainty with partial observability, which we call Qualitative Dec-POMDP (QDec-POMDP). We show that the worst...
متن کاملA General Multi-agent Epistemic Planner Based on Higher-order Belief Change
In recent years, multi-agent epistemic planning has received attention from both dynamic logic and planning communities. Existing implementations of multi-agent epistemic planning are based on compilation into classical planning and suffer from various limitations, such as generating only linear plans, restriction to public actions, and incapability to handle disjunctive beliefs. In this paper,...
متن کاملGlobal Heuristics for Distributed Cooperative Multi-Agent Planning
Almost every planner needs good heuristics to be efficient. Heuristic planning has experienced an impressive progress over the last years thanks to the emergence of more and more powerful estimators. However, this progress has not been translated to multi-agent planning (MAP) due to the difficulty of applying classical heuristics in distributed environments. The application of local search heur...
متن کاملFault Tolerant Planning: Complexity and Compilation
In the context of modeling and reasoning about agent actions, contingent and classical planning can often be respectively seen as adopting “extreme pessimism” and “extreme optimism” about the action outcomes. For many everyday scenarios of human reasoning (and thus for many types of autonomous systems), both these approaches are just too extreme. Following Jensen, Veloso, and Bryant (2004), we ...
متن کاملMulti-agent Planning An introduction to planning and coordination
Many day-to-day situations involve decision making: for example, a taxi company has some transportation tasks to be carried out, a large firm has to distribute a lot of complicated tasks among its subdivisions or subcontractors, and an air-traffic controller has to assign time slots to planes that are landing or taking off. Intelligent agents can aid in this decision-making process. Agents are ...
